Vivien Tang

Managing Director

Vivien has more than 25 years of experience advising Australian businesses, private clients, family groups and international organisations operating in Australia. Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership positions across established Australian and international professional services firms, while maintaining a strong focus on working directly with clients.

Vivien is known for providing practical, commercially focused advice and taking genuine ownership of the work entrusted to her. She places great importance on understanding what matters to each client, delivering meaningful value and following through on her commitments.

Her experience spans accounting and taxation compliance, business structuring, advisory and self-managed superannuation funds, together with the ongoing Australian requirements of international businesses. She has supported many clients over the long term, helping them navigate changing circumstances, complex decisions and different stages of growth.

Troy Maciel

Associate Director

Chartered Accountant · Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW)

Troy has more than nine years of experience in business services, accounting and tax, working with privately owned businesses, SMEs, corporate groups and international clients across a range of industries. As Associate Director, he works closely with Vivien in leading client engagements across the practice.

Troy is at his best working directly with business owners and their finance teams, particularly where the work goes beyond compliance. He is focused on practical accounting, tax and commercial advice that helps clients make well-informed decisions as their businesses grow and their structures evolve.

His experience spans business and tax compliance, advisory, management reporting and broader commercial accounting matters, with a particular focus on the accounting and tax requirements of corporate groups and international clients operating in Australia.

Urna Ganbat

Accountant

Master of Professional Accounting (Macquarie University) · CA Program completed

Urna holds a Master of Professional Accounting from Macquarie University and has completed the Chartered Accountants Program, currently undertaking the mentored practical experience component toward CA membership. She brings five years of experience in external audit and financial accounting, a background that brings a disciplined approach to accuracy and documentation.

Rosey Parakkal

Consultant – Practice Operations

Chartered Accountant · Bachelor of Accountancy (Singapore Management University)

Rosey is a Chartered Accountant with more than 17 years of experience in finance and operations, principally in fund administration and corporate services. Her career began in external audit with a Big Four firm, followed by fund administration for private equity and alternative investment clients in Singapore and Australia. Most recently, she built and led the fund services operations division of a global corporate services provider in Australia, establishing the operating model, team, technology and client relationships from inception.

At TAV & Partners, Rosey works with Vivien on the operational side of the practice — establishing the firm's systems, compliance frameworks and client engagement documentation, and coordinating the projects that sit behind the client work. Her experience managing corporate services for international businesses expanding into Australia also supports the firm's work with overseas clients.

Her focus is on making sure the practice runs as well behind the scenes as it does in front of clients, so the team can deliver work that is consistent, well documented and followed through to completion.
