TAV & Partners is a chartered accounting and advisory firm based in Sydney, Australia. We support Australian businesses, private clients and family groups, as well as international businesses establishing and operating in Australia.

The decision to establish an independent firm was deliberate. It gives us the freedom to shape how we work, make decisions efficiently and respond to clients without unnecessary layers or delay. We have built our approach around what is practical, commercially sensible and genuinely useful, while maintaining the technical rigour and professional standards our clients should expect.
We value continuity and the understanding that develops through long-term professional relationships. By understanding each client's history, structure, priorities and objectives, we can provide advice that is relevant to their circumstances and support them as their needs evolve.
Our approach
Compliance is the foundation, not the ceiling.
Accurate and timely compliance work provides the foundation for everything else we do. Tax returns, financial statements, activity statements and payroll obligations must be handled properly and reliably, giving clients confidence that their core obligations are under control.
However, businesses do not operate in a static environment. Tax laws, regulatory requirements and government policy continue to evolve, while each client's circumstances change over time. A business may outgrow its existing structure, welcome a new investor, expand into Australia, acquire a property or begin planning for succession. Decisions made at these points can have significant and lasting taxation and commercial consequences.
We support clients through both the recurring compliance cycle and the decisions that arise along the way. By understanding the broader context, we can identify issues, explain the available options and provide practical advice when it matters.

Our assistance includes entity establishment and registrations, accounting and tax compliance, payroll, management reporting and corporate secretarial support. We work with overseas management teams and their advisers to ensure Australian obligations are handled properly and information is delivered clearly and in a form that meets their broader reporting requirements.
